In the heart of the martial arts world, we meet the steadfast Cheng Tai-Nan (Kara Hui). As an unwavering servant to a dying patriarch, Tai-Nan's sole mission is to shield her master's enormous fortune from his avaricious, scheming nephew, Yung-Sheng. Despite the vast age gap, Tai-Nan consents to wed her master, safeguarding his treasures and preparing to transfer them to Ching-Chuen (Lau Kar-Leung), her master's preferred nephew and her new husband. Yung-Sheng's jealousy blazes, spurring him to unleash a slew of thugs upon Tai-Nan. However, she is no ordinary woman, but an adept martial arts practitioner, batting away her enemies with grace and skill. The plot takes an unexpected turn when Yu Tao (Hou Hsiao), Ching-Chuen's son, returns home from university in Hong Kong. He finds a mysterious woman in his home, attacking her in confusion, only to discover she is his new great aunt, Tai-Nan. Adding to the intricate web of relations, an undercurrent of awkward attraction simmers between Yu Tao and Tai-Nan. The plot thickens when Yung-Sheng cunningly swindles the legal paperwork, titles, and deeds to Ching-Chuen's wealth. Now, Tai-Nan is left with the daunting task of reigniting the fighting spirit in Ching-Chuen and his older brothers. They must storm Yung-Sheng's trap-riddled mansion in a thrilling martial showdown, restoring their family's honor and fortune.
