Plot

In the heart of Kuala Lumpur's bustling business district sits a large, yet wildly disorganized company, helmed by its eccentric and unpredictable Bossman (Reza Rahadian), an Indonesian magnate whose management principles are as perplexing as they are frustrating. His foremost rule, "Bossman Is Always Right", sets the tone for an office environment where the impossible is done, and miracles are just another task on the to-do list. Caught in this whirlwind of chaos is Diana (Bunga Citra Lestari), Bossman's beleaguered secretary. Relocated to Kuala Lumpur to accompany her husband, Diana applies for a job in Bossman's company, ignorant of the fact that her new boss is an old college friend of her husband from their days in America. Quickly, she is thrown into an unending saga of managing her boss's absurd demands and navigating the tangled web of the company's operations. Every day, Diana's patience and sanity are stretched to their limits as she wrestles with the nonsensical puzzles the company throws her way, all while dealing with Bossman's whimsical antics. "My Stupid Boss" is a comedic exploration of the madness that ensues when a company is run by a man who believes in making miracles, not sense. This movie masterfully captures the world of absurd corporate life, where the lines of logic are as blurred as Bossman's bizarre decrees.
