Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery (2015)

In Eden Lake, a quaint and tranquil Minnesota town, Christmas is on the horizon and something far less festive lurks in the shadows. Hannah Swensen, a charming bakery/café owner known for her knack in solving mysteries as much as her knack for baking, finds herself embroiled in a yuletide enigma. Juggling the affections of two men, the stable and comforting dentist Norman Rhodes, and adventurous police detective Mike Kingston, Hannah's love life becomes as complex as the mystery she's about to unravel. The holiday cheer is shattered when Hannah discovers the body of Larry Jaeger, a customer and co-owner of the town's Crazy Elf Christmas tree lot, who was recently engaged to his sweetheart Courtney Miller after a whirlwind six-week courtship. This marks the second murder in the town's recent history, and alarmingly, the second body Hannah has stumbled upon.
