In the balmy embrace of the South Seas, charismatic yachtsman Steve Drexel wagers with his friends aboard a luxurious sailing yacht that he can not only survive but thrive on a deserted island with nothing but a toothbrush. Accepting the high-stakes challenge, Steve, alongside his faithful canine companion, bravely swims ashore and begins to ingeniously reconstruct elements of his Park Avenue lifestyle. With the island's resources and a series of 'Rube Goldberg' contraptions, he conjures up a comfortable haven complete with surprising amenities, showcasing his athleticism, resourcefulness, and light-hearted spirit. Even the island's wildlife is charmed into lending a helping paw – or wing – in his quest for survival. Meanwhile, a stone's throw away on a neighboring island, a young maiden in a grass skirt courageously flees an arranged marriage that threatens her freedom. She paddles her canoe through treacherous waters to find sanctuary on Steve's island, where he affectionately christens her "Saturday". However, their idyllic existence is soon disrupted by vengeful tribesmen from Saturday's home island, their spears and war cries shattering the tranquility. As danger looms large, the question remains: will Steve and Saturday outwit their pursuers, and against all odds, continue to live their version of 'the life of Riley'? Mr. Robinson Crusoe weaves an engaging tale of survival, wit, and unexpected companionship in the exotic wilderness of the South Seas.
