Mother Krampus (2017)

In the chilling frost of 1921, twelve innocent children mysteriously vanished in the shadowy woods bordering a quaint German town, their disappearances coinciding with the twelve days leading up to Christmas. Found in the aftermath was a deeply disturbed girl, her mind shattered and her body bearing the marks of unspeakable horror. She succumbed to her injuries, taking with her the secrets of the missing children. Fast forward to the Christmas of 1992, when the town was plunged back into its nightmare as five more children disappeared, their lifeless bodies later discovered in the same ominous woods. Enraged and desperate for justice, the townsfolk executed a woman they accused of the heinous crimes, but not before she uttered a haunting curse – the vengeful Christmas Witch, Frau Perchta, would rise to avenge her death. A quarter-century later, the tale of Frau Perchta is largely dismissed as folklore, a ghost story whispered in hushed tones during the festive season. However, when children begin to disappear once more, the town is gripped with a creeping dread. The specter of the Christmas Witch looms larger with each passing day, and the once-dismissed curse starts to ring alarmingly true. This Yuletide, not only the children, but also the adults are in peril. As fear and suspicion creep through the town like a winter chill, the question hangs heavy in the air: has Mother Krampus come to claim her vengeance?
