Frustrated filmmaker Jayson is caught in a cinematic nightmare when he fails to sell his beloved indie-drama in Hollywood. The distributors demand a spicier mix — more sex, more violence; a tantalizing cocktail of exploitative elements. Encouraged by his erratic producer, Bravo, Jayson embarks on a reckless mission to reinvigorate his film. Despite budget constraints, Bravo convinces a young, unsuspecting crew to follow them deep into the secluded wilderness of the Great Bear Mountains, promising them a slice of the future profits and a cinematic adventure they won't forget. Among the motley crew of 'B' movie actors and hopefuls is daring stuntman Burt and his stunningly ambitious girlfriend, Ashley. Behind-the-scenes interviews unravel the eccentricities of this group before they plunge into the heart of their film. However, tragedy strikes when Jayson is inadvertently killed by his amateur crew. In the ensuing chaos, Bravo, guided by a strange, sinister resolve, persuades them to finish the film. The line between fiction and reality blurs gruesomely as they find themselves under siege by a relentless horde of monstrous 'devil dogs'. Amidst the deadly chaos, Burt, Ashley, and Bravo find a momentary respite as two celestial 'angels' swoop in to combat the hellish creatures. Unbeknownst to the crew, Bravo has struck a devilish deal, offering twelve souls — their souls — in exchange for the completion of his film. The once tranquil woods are transformed into a battleground of cosmic proportions as the crew fights for survival. They must obliterate the demonic beasts and seal the gateway to Hell before the entire Earth is swallowed by malevolence.
