In the throes of a grand celebration, a high school senior class embarks upon a luxurious journey aboard the SS Lazarus, marking their transition from adolescence to adulthood. Among them is our protagonist, Rennie, a young woman grappling with a deep-seated fear of water, forged from a near-drowning incident in her youth. As the jovial atmosphere grips everyone, an unwelcome guest slips aboard the vessel - the infamous Jason Voorhees, awakened by the ship's vibrations. As the ship slices through the dark waters, Jason commences a relentless and grisly killing spree, turning the joyous voyage into a harrowing journey of survival. Amidst the chaos and bloodshed, Rennie's haunting visions of a young Jason intensify, adding an eerie layer to the unfolding horror. Survival becomes paramount as the surviving students find the courage to confront their fearsome stalker, only to be outmaneuvered time and again. A handful of survivors manage to escape the floating death trap, finding refuge in the sprawling metropolis of New York City. But their relief is short-lived as Jason, unyielding and relentless, manages to follow them there. Now, Rennie and her love interest, Sean, find themselves in a deadly cat-and-mouse game across the city that never sleeps. The young couple must summon all their courage, not only to survive, but to prevent Jason from turning the Big Apple into a city of carnage. With every dark corner holding potential danger, their fight for survival becomes a desperate race against time in the shadowy waters of New York.
