Plot

Stepping into the twilight years of her life, Mrs. Kwon has effortlessly transitioned from a homemade soup tycoon to a tech-whizz grandmother, having built a modest soup business into a thriving empire. As she relishes her retirement, her wealth is generously distributed among her offspring, leaving her to savor her new role as a self-reliant millionaire granny. However, her tranquil days are disrupted when a motley crew of bumbling criminals kidnaps her, hoping to pocket a quick fortune. Their ill-conceived plan, however, unravels when they learn that her family is unexpectedly hesitant to part with the surprisingly modest $50,000 ransom. In a twist of events, an irate Mrs. Kwon decides to take control of her peculiar situation. She becomes the unlikely leader of her kidnappers, masterminding an audacious plot that could potentially result in the largest ransom haul in Korean history - a staggering 50 million dollars. As the plot thickens, the question arises: will this unlikely alliance of captor and captive succeed in securing the jackpot ransom, or will their grand scheme crumble under the weight of its own ambition? The answer lies in the thrilling roller coaster ride that is 'Mission Possible: Kidnapping Granny K'.
