Miruthan (2016)

In the serene hill station of Ooty, Karthik ('Jayam ' Ravi) has traded the danger of armed force for the predictability of being a traffic cop. His primary goal is to ensure he has enough time to care for his sweet little sister Vidhya (Baby Anikha), while nursing an unrequited love for Renu (Lakshmi Menon), a local doctor. But life as they know it shatters when a perilous chemical leak from a nearby industry sets in motion a horrific chain of events. When an unsuspecting dog consumes the lethal substance, it transforms into a rabid zombie. The menace begins spreading its horror as the infected dog bites a watchman, triggering a rapid-fire contagion that threatens to engulf the town.
