In the embrace of the wilderness, Beth Slocum's peaceful hike takes a fatal turn, ended abruptly by a venomous snakebite. This unexpected demise sends shockwaves through her loving parents and devoted boyfriend, Zach, leaving them lost in a sea of grief. After Beth's funeral, Zach attempts to forge a connection with the Slocums, only to be met with a wall of inexplicable rejection. His curiosity piqued, Zach is determined to unravel the mystery. To his astonishment, he discovers Beth, seemingly resurrected from the dead. Her parents have been clandestinely harboring their undead daughter, desperate to maintain the illusion of her untimely departure. Yet, this surreal turn of events provides Zach with an unforeseen chance to live out all the moments with Beth that death had snatched away. However, Beth's resurrection is far from ideal. Her behavior grows progressively erratic, and the town begins to experience a series of bizarre occurrences. As he grapples with the complexities of life with an undead girlfriend, Zach finds himself at the heart of an extraordinary conundrum, testing the limits of love and loss. After all, living with the undead might be more challenging than anyone could have ever imagined.
