In the heart of Britain, a bumbling band of would-be criminals hatch a plan to rob a bank, their goal nothing less than the salvation of their grandfather's threatened retirement home, facing demolition at the hands of relentless developers. Unbeknownst to them, on a distant construction site, workers unwittingly disturb an ancient graveyard, triggering a chilling chain reaction as they fall prey to the reanimated "undead." The hapless heist goes awry, the robbers find themselves trapped by the law, but when they finally break free, they discover a world transformed. The living are now the dead, the result of a zombie apocalypse. With the clock ticking and the undead horde closing in, they must battle their way to the retirement home, racing to reach it before the zombies do in this uniquely British twist on the zombie apocalypse genre.
