Plot

In the darkly comedic horror spectacle "Zombeavers," a series of unfortunate events unleashes a lethal menace upon a seemingly serene riverside retreat. A pair of careless truckers, loaded with hazardous chemical products, hit a deer, causing a barrel to tumble into the river and wash up at a beaver's dam, setting a chilling chain of events in motion. A trio of college friends - the adventurous Mary, bubbly Zoe, and pragmatic Jenn - escape to a cabin near the dam, a quaint spot owned by Mary's Aunt Myrne Gregorson. In their moments of leisure, they swim in the lake, seeking, but not finding, beavers near the dam. Their tranquility is shattered when they cross paths with a bear, only to be rescued by the enigmatic hunter Smyth. As night falls, their boyfriends Sam, Tommy, and Buck make a surprise arrival at the cabin. Amidst the ensuing romantic escapades and fiery arguments sparked by infidelity, danger lurks. Jenn's nocturnal bathroom visit turns into a horrifying encounter with a seemingly rabid beaver, which is quickly dispatched by Tommy. Daybreak brings no relief. Their morning swim transforms into a nightmare as they find themselves under attack from an unfathomable threat - zombie beavers. What started as a weekend of fun quickly spirals into a desperate battle for survival. As the beavers close in, the cabin and its surroundings become a battleground, blurring the lines between fear, seduction, and humor. "Zombeavers" is a thrilling ride that tests the limits of their friendships and survival instincts. Will they outwit the deadly swarm and escape their weekend from hell?
