Plagued by the residual guilt of a devastating car accident that claimed his fiancée Kayla's life, Max Matheson is a man teetering on the edge of his own emotional abyss. After being resuscitated and left to grapple with his grief, Max finds himself under the diligent care of Dr. Beaumont, a psychologist attempting to piece together the shards of his shattered psyche. As fate would have it, an unexpected opportunity to heal arrives when his father, Jack Matheson, reopens the grand Mayflower Department Store in New Orleans. After a strange accident incapacitates the store's security guard, Max is invited by his father to step into the role, a move hoped to aid his recovery. Thrust into the heart of the bustling store, Max is introduced to the core team: the shrewd store manager Keller Landreaux, the savvy buyer Jenna McCarty, and the ambitious vice-president of operations, Ryan Parker. However, the store's polished veneer begins to crack as Max starts experiencing chilling visions in the store's mirrors, foretelling the deaths of Jenna and Ryan. The apparition of a woman appears, a spectral echo of Eleanor Reigns, a former employee who has mysteriously vanished. Compelled by these haunting visions, Max reaches out to Eleanor's sister, Elizabeth, to unravel the enigma of her disappearance. As he delves deeper into the mystery, Max uncovers a web of tragedy that entwines Jenna, Ryan, and Keller. He realizes that Eleanor's restless spirit is trapped in the mirrors, thirsting for revenge. As the past and present collide in the reflective surfaces of the Mayflower Department Store, Max must confront his own demons to unchain Eleanor's spirit and prevent a deadly fate from befalling those around him.
