Plot

"Miles from Home" is a poignant exploration of lost innocence, narrating the heartrending journey of 17-year-old Miles Conway. Abandoned by his mother to her drug addiction and his brother to life on the streets, Miles finds himself grappling with life's harsh realities in the sprawling urban maze of Los Angeles. His father, a victim of his own triumphs, is but a fading memory, leaving Miles unanchored and adrift in a sea of uncertainty. In the cold underbelly of the city, Miles crosses paths with a group of teenage escorts - Peaches, Maddie, and Frankie. Seduced by the intoxicating allure of sex, money, and drugs, Miles plunges into this uncharted world, finding a distorted sense of family amidst the chaos. But the allure of this underworld is not without its demons, and as Miles confronts his inner turmoil, his innocence dissipates like mist in the dawn light. In the midst of this turmoil, Miles encounters Natasha Freeman, a 19-year-old college student whose free-spirited nature stands in stark contrast to his own life. Effortlessly, Natasha unveils the hidden beauty in life, challenging Miles to see beyond his circumstances. Caught in the crossfire of his dual existence, Miles is faced with a choice. Would he embrace the promise of life or succumb to the allure of death? As he navigates this emotional labyrinth, Miles discovers that the most daunting battle one must face is against the self. His journey transcends the physical realm, stirring a profound internal war. Will he recognize the blessings amidst the chaos, or will he be consumed by the world he's fallen into? In "Miles from Home," the greatest fear is to confront the person within.
