Never Back Down (2008)

When Jake Tyler arrived at a new school, he has as much difficulty as any student in getting adapted to his new social situation. He's surprised to discover that the students of the high school run and engage in a secret fight club known as Backyard Fight. Tyler initially has little interested, but he finds that he has to do something once his family members begin to be threatened by strangers. He'll need the help of an older martial arts fighter if he's going to defeat his rival. Ryan McCarthy is just a teen, but his training and lack of morals make him one of the most dangerous opponents Jake could face.
