An unfulfilled accountant in his 30s, Kyle Peoples, portrayed by Lukas Haas, finds himself trapped in a life he never envisaged: a dead-end job, a relationship with a more successful partner, and a family that fails to understand him. An ordinary night of revelry introduces him to an alternative family of friends, offering a tantalizing chance to flee from his mundane reality. Among these new friends are the captivating Maia (Necar Zadegan) and the energetic Dusty (Blake Berris), whose shared fondness for crystal meth lures Kyle into a world of false freedom and fleeting joy.
