Medusa's Child (1997)

In the throes of his wife Vivian's departure and the slashing of his research funding, Rogers Henry, a deranged nuclear scientist and former head of the Defense Department's Medusa Project, conceives his version of a terrifying masterpiece — Medusa. This is no ordinary bomb but a thermonuclear terror capable of emitting an electro-magnetic pulse vast enough to cripple a continent's computer-based society, thus spelling doom for the government he seeks vengeance upon.
