Plot

In the midst of the Korean War, Matt performs a heroic act, saving the life of his comrade, Vince. In gratitude, Vince vows to share a million-dollar fortune with Matt one day. Fast forward eight years, and Matt finds himself trapped in a crumbling marriage with Nina, a voracious alcoholic who craves male attention. Unexpectedly, Vince resurfaces, armed with a tantalizing proposal. He claims enemies of a Central American tyrant have pilfered a whopping $3.5 million, and he has a plan to seize the money and pocket a hefty reward. Vince proposes to split this reward with Matt if he assists in this daring endeavor. Despite his initial skepticism, a ferocious argument with Nina prompts Matt to abandon his turbulent life and accept Vince's offer, as long as the mission remains free of gunfire. The plot thus spins a web of intrigue, risk, and potential redemption, inviting the viewer to follow Matt's journey into the unknown.
