In the vibrant heart of Paris, 2009, we meet Raphaël, a high school student and aspiring Sci-Fi writer, who spends his days alongside his best friend, Felix. A chance encounter introduces Raphaël to Olivia, a fellow student and passionate pianist. This magical first meeting sparks an inspiration in Raphaël that propels him to complete his first novel.
Fast forward to 2019, Raphaël's novel has exploded into a renowned Sci-Fi saga, catapulting him into the limelight as a best-selling author. The success has not come without a cost, as his inflated ego has started to overshadow his personal life, cooling his once fervent marriage with Olivia. After a significant conversation about ending their relationship, they retreat into the night, oblivious of what the new dawn will bring.
Raphaël wakes up to an alternate reality, a world where he is a high school teacher, entangled with Mélanie, another member of the school staff. His successful writing career is non-existent, and Olivia, now a renowned pianist, doesn't recognize him. Overwhelmed and desperate to reclaim his former life, Raphaël turns to Felix, sharing his bizarre predicament and seeking help to navigate this unfamiliar reality.
Raphaël hatches a plan to restore his old life. He must make Olivia fall for him again. He poses as a ghost-writer, documenting the lives of celebrities, to get close to Olivia and learn her story. However, an unexpected twist awaits him - Olivia is engaged to her agent, Marc. Time is of the essence, and Raphaël must act swiftly, or he risks losing his old life forever. His journey teeters on the precipice of love and desperation, leaving viewers intrigued about the unfolding fate of this love at second sight.
