Plot

In the throes of romantic despair, best friends Jerry and Nick find their love lives marooned in heartbreak bay. Jerry, having disastrously proposed to his fiancée during a hot air balloon ride that ended in regurgitated remorse, is particularly downcast. Hoping to navigate away from their romantic woes and towards the welcoming shores of new relationships, they chart a course for love aboard a luxurious cruise liner. Unbeknownst to them, their travel agent, nursing a bitter grudge against Nick for an unforgivable slight against his clandestine lover, has a wicked curveball up his sleeve. The duo unsuspectingly embarks on a voyage of unexpected discovery, as their supposed love boat is, in fact, a festive gay cruiser, a floating haven for gay men to connect and socialize. As they gradually unravel their hilarious predicament, Jerry and Nick find themselves steering through a sea of comical misadventures, making "Boat Trip" a voyage of laughter and unexpected revelations.
