Lotte (2016)

In the vibrant chaos of Berlin's streets, we find Lotte: a woman who's as unpredictable as she is unrefined. Her life is a haphazard collage of fleeting relationships and transient homes. One fateful night at her usual haunt, she crosses paths with Marcel, a figure from a past she'd rather forget. Overwhelmed, Lotte seeks solace in the sanctuary of her friend Sabine's apartment. The echoes of that chance meeting, however, refuse to fade. They permeate Lotte's work at the city hospital, where she cares for Greta, a young girl who stirs a tender bond within her. This newfound semblance of tranquility is abruptly shattered when Lotte witnesses an unexpected meeting between Greta and Marcel. It's a poignant moment that forces Lotte to confront her past, her fears, and the realization that this time, there's no place left to run.
