Plot

In the gentle grip of the city's night, James finds himself ending things with Katie, a decision that tugs at his compassionate heart. He despises the idea of causing pain. Yet, he finds a spark of solace in his imminent meeting with the ever-entertaining Monica. However, he remains acutely aware of a missing connection with her, a bond he shares effortlessly with Sarah - their camaraderie, though, is strictly platonic. Then there was Natalie, with whom he shared a unique closeness, until Los Angeles claimed her. Her departure triggers a memory - he's slated to collaborate with the famed actress, Anna. Her star status, however, leaves him wondering if she'd even acknowledge him. Amidst these fleeting connections, the thought of Lily's return brings a smile. His yearning to see her is palpable. Lorraine occasionally crosses his mind, but the melancholy her memory induces is too poignant. In moments of solitude, he turns to Rapunzel, a nickname he's given to a forgotten name in his contacts. He contemplates deleting her, but finds himself unable to sever even this vague link. James' life is a carousel of short-lived mornings and extended nights, a testament to the transient nature of relationships in a fast-paced world.
