Fando's world is a blend of stark reality and the vivid imaginings of a child’s mind. Sometimes, we're privy to his attempts to construct fantasies to explain the turmoil around him. At other times, we find him engrossed in solitary play or sharing innocent moments with his companion, Thérèse.
In this gripping narrative, the primal curiosity of a young boy intertwines with his growing awareness of adult themes. Fando's exploration of sex and death is subtly juxtaposed with his quest to unravel the intricacies of his mother's allegiance and the truth behind his father's fate.
