Plot

As the curtain rises on the film "Little Big Man," we meet Jack Crabb, a man who has defied time, living to the ripe age of 121. His life, a woven tapestry of extraordinary adventures and unforgettable characters, unfolds as he shares his past with an avid collector of oral histories. At the tender age of 10, Jack's life took an unexpected turn when he was seized by the Cheyenne tribe. The tribe didn't imprison him; instead, they embraced him as their own, nurturing and raising him in their culture. His life, however, was not destined to be confined within the tribe. As he matured, Jack found himself straddling two worlds—the one he was born into and the one he was adopted into. He was drawn back to the society of white folks, where his life took on a new hue. He transformed into a formidable gunslinger, a role that was as perilous as it was thrilling. His heart found solace in the arms of an Indian woman, a love story tragically cut short by the ruthless General George Armstrong Custer. This personal loss fuelled Jack's transformation into a scout for the very man who brought about his beloved's demise, setting the stage for his presence at the epic battle of Little Bighorn, known as Custer's Last Stand. "Little Big Man" is more than a recounting of Jack Crabb's life—it's a journey through a century of history, peppered with riveting adventures, compelling characters, and heartrending tragedies. An exploration of identity, survival, and the resilient human spirit, this film invites viewers to experience a life lived on the edges of two colliding worlds.
