For a decade, Lina has traded the comforts of her native Peru for the chilly Chilean landscape, laboring as a domestic worker for a prosperous family. This humble employment has allowed her to scrape by, always ensuring she could send a portion of her earnings back to Lima, for the care of her son Junior. An entire adolescence has blossomed in her absence, with Junior transforming from a young boy to a teenager. As Christmas approaches, Lina's heart swells with anticipation, ready to return to Lima and her long-neglected home. However, Junior seems more fixated on acquiring a genuine soccer jersey than reuniting with his mother. This unexpected indifference stings, but Lina's troubles are far from over.
