In the early months of 1955, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood are juxtaposed with the stark reality of the industry. The curtains are about to rise on Warner Brothers' newest film, "East of Eden," featuring a fresh face to the silver screen, the enigmatic method actor James Dean.
