Plot

Meet John Lyshitski, a notorious car thief and seasoned convict who has spent more time within the foreboding walls of Illinois' Rossmore State Penitentiary than he has in the free world. With a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, he has become a familiar face to both the inmates and staff, his name echoing through the prison corridors like a disheartening anthem of lost causes. John's life has been punctuated by the unforgiving gavel of one man - Judge Nelson Biederman III, who has been instrumental in sentencing him to his repeated stints in prison. But when the stern-faced judge takes his last breath, John sees an opportunity for the sweetest revenge - to mar his adversary's legacy by targeting the judge's only son, the sheltered and privileged Nelson Biederman IV. Crafting a devious plan, John intentionally lands himself back in prison, scheming to make Nelson IV his cellmate. The pampered man-child is ill-equipped for the harsh reality of prison life, and John relishes the thought of watching his suffering firsthand, planning to be a wolf in sheep's clothing - a friend in appearance but a tormentor in disguise. He orchestrates a series of trials for Nelson IV, bribing inmates and guards to ensure the pampered progeny's life behind bars is a living nightmare. However, as John's intricate plan unfolds, he finds himself navigating unexpected obstacles. The brutal world of prison is not an easy stage for his revenge play, and Nelson IV proves to be a more complex character than anticipated. As John's plot spirals, he is forced to question the depth of his vindictiveness. Has he crossed a line in his quest for retribution? Or will he learn, too late, the timeless lesson of reciprocity: treat others as you wish to be treated? This dark comedy, "Let's Go to Prison," is a twisted tale of revenge, redemption, and the ironies of justice, served both inside and outside the prison walls.
