Plot

In the heart of Paris, on a bridge that arches over the Seine, the story of 'Les Biches' unfolds. Frédérique, a wealthy and stunningly beautiful bisexual woman teetering on the edge of ennui, crosses paths with 'Why', a young and homeless street artist. An invitation for tea in Frédérique's luxurious apartment sparks an unexpected love affair, igniting a flame which takes them to Frédérique's winter retreat in the sun-drenched bohemian paradise of Saint Tropez where a pair of eccentric gay men also reside. As the winter chill turns to warmth, Frédérique hosts a party for a handful of guests. Amongst them is the alluring architect Paul Thomas who, with his charismatic charm, draws 'Why' into a whirlwind of seduction. Their passion-filled night is abruptly curtailed when Frédérique asserts her control, seducing Paul herself. A love triangle emerges, the vertices connected by desire, manipulation, and a shared living space in Frédérique's villa. Despite her initial claims, 'Why' finds herself unable to resist the magnetic pull of Paul. Her attempts to seduce him, however, are thwarted, leaving her feeling excluded and unwanted. In a desperate bid to regain control, she suggests a drunken threesome, but her proposition falls on deaf ears. When Frédérique and Paul are called away to Paris on urgent business, 'Why' embarks on a clandestine pursuit, hoping to claim her place in Frédérique's world once again. 'Les Biches' is a tale of love, lust, and power, set against the backdrop of Paris and Saint Tropez, where every emotion is as intricate as the brush strokes in 'Why's street art.
