Plot

In the heart of Manhattan, the legendary tomb explorers Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan, and Hu's beloved fiancée Shirley Yang are living in self-imposed retirement. The once-celebrated Mojin trio, now adrift in the throes of financial despair, have left behind the thrill of unearthing ancient secrets for a quieter life. However, their retirement is abruptly disrupted when Wang Kaixuan is drawn into a mysterious deal to search for the ancient tomb of a Mongolian princess. This enticing proposal comes from the enigmatic businesswoman and cult leader, Ying Caihong. She lures the trio back to their original vocation, promising them more than just another adventure. As they delve deeper, they soon realize that her true intentions lie in acquiring the Equinox Flower, a legendary artifact rumored to have the power to resurrect the dead. The trio's journey takes them back to Inner Mongolia, China, plunging them into a deadly game of grave-robbing. The stakes rise further when they are led to unravel the truth behind the tragic death of Ding Sitian, the first love of both Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan, who perished mysteriously back in 1969. "Mojin: The Lost Legend" is a whirlwind of ancient mysteries, haunting pasts, and treacherous journeys. The trio's adventure is far from a mere treasure hunt—it's a race against time to prevent the misuse of a powerful artifact and a quest to seek closure for a wound that time has failed to heal.
