The Handmaiden (2016)

In 1930s Korea, a young woman is hired as the handmaiden to a rich heiress who lives in the middle of nowhere with a controlling uncle. The heiress is destined to marry her uncle, and she lives like a prisoner during an era when the Japanese occupied the country. Adding an additional layer of intrigue is the fact that her new handmaiden is actually a thief that's been hired by a conman to get close to the heiress and convince her to marry him. But as the handmaiden and the heiress grow closer, she comes to have second thoughts about betraying her young mistress.
