Plot

In the grip of the 1930s, Dr. Lawrence Baxter, a young, audacious physician and a fervent advocate for public health, aligns himself with the Bureau of Pure Foods and Drugs. With a heart brimming with determination, Baxter leverages the power of the airwaves, using radio broadcasts as his weapon to wage war against the plethora of charlatan physicians poisoning the air with their pseudo-medical advice and peddling sham "cures." His crusade takes a perilous turn when he sets his sights on the notorious Kennedy Radium Products, the manufacturers of the deceptive 'Radium Rejuvenating Tablets.' These falsely acclaimed tonics, he asserts, are not magical elixirs of life but rather insidious harbingers of a slow, silent death. Baxter's relentless onslaught on these fraudulent practices attracts the wrath of the malevolent manufacturer, who deploys an army of slick attorneys to silence the bold doctor. The battle lines are drawn, and a tense duel ensues as each side strives to discredit the other, threatening to engulf Baxter in a maelstrom of corporate treachery and deceit. Will he succeed in his mission to purge the airwaves of these lethal lies or succumb to the malicious machinations of the mighty Kennedy Radium Products? "Larceny on the Air" teeters on the brink of this tantalizing uncertainty, promising an engrossing journey into the heart of a dangerous intrigue.
