Frequency (2000)

Frequency is a high-energy science fiction thriller about time travel. A father and son can talk to each other over a special HAM radio 30 years apart. The father is sitting at the same desk in the same house 30 years earlier. The son, a New York City homicide officer tries to warn his firefighter father about his impending death in a warehouse fire and actually saves his life. This has serious consequences because it changes the next 30 years of history which includes his mother’s murder. The father and son work together divided by 30 years to try to prevent the murder.
