Plot

In the tranquil embrace of a secluded lake town, the life of school teacher Akiko Kashiwagi takes a haunting turn. Plagued by a nightmarish memory from her childhood, Akiko lives a relatively peaceful life with her younger sister Natsuko and their loyal dog Leo. Their seemingly serene world is occasionally punctuated by the visits of her fiancé, the diligent Dr. Takashi Saeki. However, the calm of their community is shattered when a mysterious coffin is delivered to a boathouse nearby. Its arrival heralds a wave of chilling incidents, with locals falling victim to an enigmatic assailant leaving them bloodless and marked with two distinct punctures on their neck. Amidst the rising terror, Dr. Saeki finds himself drawn into the heart of these inexplicable attacks near Akiko's lakeside home, prompting him to launch a daring investigation. As the sinister reality of the situation unfurls, Akiko, the sole witness to the burgeoning vampire invasion, wrestles with her own disbelief. As the town is gripped by a horrifying transformation, it's up to Akiko and Saeki to peel back the layers of the terrifying truth. The question remains: can they save their once peaceful village before the shadow of the undead consumes it completely? In this chilling tale of horror and suspense, the struggle for survival becomes as murky as the depths of the 'Lake of Dracula'.
