In the bustling town of Satara, Sachin Tichkule, a small-time road contractor, finds himself caught in the throes of adversity when his payments are abruptly suspended by the local Municipal Corporation. As if this weren't challenging enough, Sachin's extended family is grappling with the fallout from a recent bridge collapse that resulted in a tragic loss of 65 lives. But the tides of fortune turn especially sour when Sachin learns that the new Municipal Commissioner is Gehna Ganpule, his former college sweetheart with whom he now shares a deeply fractured past. Their turbulent history, marked by Sachin's cruel assault on her years ago in Mumbai, leaves Gehna determined to make Sachin's life as difficult as possible, aiming to blacklist him at all costs. As Sachin battles with this professional and personal turmoil, he is also thrown into a whirlwind of hilarious mishaps involving his lazy employees, his sister's impending wedding, an elephant, and a road-roller.
