Junkie (2012)

Embarking on a roller-coaster ride into the realm of the absurd, Junkie is a darkly humorous exploration of the chaotic lives of two profoundly dependent siblings, Danny (Daniel Louis Rivas) and Nicky (Robert LaSardo). Danny's ambitious decision to break away from his drug-induced haze is met with volatile resistance from Nicky, catapulting him into a whirlwind of madness and mayhem. An eccentric parade of aggrieved characters swarm their abode, each with old scores to settle, debts to collect, or chaos to unleash. Trapped in the hazardous labyrinth of deceit woven by his addiction, Danny must summon every ounce of strength to emancify himself from his self-destructive habits. Amidst his arduous journey to mend the severely strained ties with his increasingly peculiar friends and family, he inadvertently unearths shocking truths that teeter his world on the brink of collapse.
