Joy (2015)

Joy, a young divorcee, has always had a knack for invention. This was always supported by Mimi, her grandmother, but no one else in her family understands the magnitude of Joy's brilliance. Despite that, everyone in her family turns to her for help, despite her lack her money and education. When a host of her quirky family members decide to move in, Joy finds herself overwhelmed. But when she comes up with an idea for a self-wringing mop, she pitches it to her father's current wealthy girlfriend. Will she get funds, and the recognition, to realize her dream and potential?
