In the seedy underbelly of a city's law enforcement, we find Jo Pil-ho, a cop whose moral compass is as corrupt as his actions. His career is marred by aiding his associate's escape after a heist, and now they're on the brink of their potentially final exploit. Their target? The police warehouse, a supposed treasure trove of spoils. However, their plan crumbles as an unexpected explosion leaves their ambitions in ruins. Pil-ho is rendered unconscious, his partner lifeless. Awakening amidst the wreckage, Pil-ho finds himself in a precarious situation as the very department he serves starts to question his role in the catastrophe. Unjustly pinned for the disaster, Pil-ho must weave a web of deception to clear his tainted name, a task that leads him to the unlikeliest of allies – a tenacious teenage girl. Together, they unearth a corporate scandal, a revelation that was initially just a means to clear Pil-ho's name. However, as a sequence of violent events unfurls, Pil-ho's perspective shifts. The once self-serving cop finds himself slipping into an uncharted role, the unexpected guardian of the young girl. As the plot thickens, Pil-ho is forced to confront his duplicitous past and perhaps, in the process, stumble upon a path to redemption.
