Plot

In the heart of Manhattan, a stone's throw from the bustling Fifth Avenue, resides Bill Davis, a prosperous engineer exercising his liberty as a contented bachelor. His world is as polished as the penthouse he occupies, his life orchestrated by his impeccable English valet, Mr. Giles French. But Bill's perfect equilibrium is disrupted when the echoes of family tragedy reach his doorstep. Three young orphans, the children of Davis' deceased relatives, infiltrate his tranquil existence. The sudden arrival of his innocent niece, Buffy, is just the beginning. Soon, her twin brother, Jody, adds to the unexpected ensemble, compelling Bill to make a hasty departure for Peru. Just as the dust begins to settle, their older sister, Cissy, appears, adding a new layer to the unfolding drama. With Bill away, the stoic Mr. French finds himself in an unforeseen role, sharing the burden of surrogate parenthood. The duo's once carefree existence is replaced by the chaos and charm of raising three children, transforming their high-rise bachelor pad into a lively family home. This unexpected Family Affair kindles a new lifestyle for Bill and French, one that is as challenging as it is rewarding, forever altering their once predictable lives.
