The conclusion of their story is left open to interpretation, much like the rest of the film. Through a series of stark, surrealistic images, including a dead horse being dragged atop a piano, the film challenges conventional storytelling, leaving its meaning as elusive as a dream. At just 17 minutes long, "Un Chien Andalou" presented something radically different in the cinema of its day, a film that dares to tread the line between profound and meaningless, forever inviting viewers into its enigmatic embrace.
