JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time (2014)

In an audacious bid for power, the nefarious Legion of Doom sets out to freeze the Earth's oceans using space satellites, aiming to increase their coastal land holdings. Their grand scheme is challenged by the swift arrival of the Justice League, triggering a high-stakes battle of wills that leaves their leader, Lex Luthor, entrapped in an icy glacier. Fast-forward to the 31st century, where two Legion of Superheroes trainees, Dawnstar and Karate Kid, are charged with the guardianship of the Legion's museum. During their patrol, they stumble upon the memorial of Lex Luthor, his body still encased in ice from the 29th century. An accidental act of freedom by Karate Kid sets Luthor on a secret exploration of the museum, leading him to a shrine dedicated to his greatest adversary: Superman. Here, he learns of the Kent family's role in Superman's journey, setting in motion a dangerous plan. Armed with the newfound knowledge, Luthor cleverly appropriates an hourglass containing the Time Trapper, a powerful entity with mastery over time. With this power, Luthor returns to the 21st century, trailed closely by the young Legionaries. The Legion of Doom regroups, plotting to prevent the Kents from raising Kal-El, thereby erasing Superman and destabilizing the Justice League. As Luthor's cunning plan unfolds, the Time Trapper begins to erase time paradoxes, altering reality. Now, the fate of the world rests in the hands of Dawnstar and Karate Kid, who must thwart Luthor's global domination ambitions. They manage to free the Time Trapper from Luthor's control, but this releases an even greater threat, one bent on sowing chaos throughout reality. With the Justice League back in action, they join forces with the Legionnaires.
