His once-flourishing sales figures are now mere echoes of a bygone success. Just as the abyss of obscurity threatens to swallow him, a ray of hope pierces the gloom: an enticing proposal from a film director. The challenge? Eugenio must pen a screenplay. However, the task comes with a unique caveat. He must seclude himself for three months in a sumptuous hotel, a golden cage devoid of external contact, a world far removed from his familiar one. Tasked with this daunting prospect, Eugenio embarks on an introspective journey. As he weaves his narrative, he inadvertently uncovers the darker underbelly of the publishing and film industries.
