In the heart of suburban New Jersey, Teresa and her salon girls pack their bags, leaving behind the humdrum of their everyday lives for a weekend filled with sunshine and sin at the infamous shore. Their journey, however, takes an unexpected detour, hurling them from the sandy paradise of Seaside Heights into the eerie depths of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. The haunting tales of the legendary Jersey Devil, the Pine Barrens' peculiar inhabitants, and a simple-minded colossal neighbor, send chills down their spines, driving them back to the neon lights of Seaside Heights. Upon their eager return, they cross paths with a quintet of insolent, fist-pumping delinquents who take pride in their unapologetic disrespect. As sunlight bows to the moon, their paths intertwine at a local Seaside bar. Their wild antics soon stir a dance-floor melee, leading to their swift eviction. With no other refuge in sight, they retreat to the unsettling sanctuary in the Pine Barrens, plunging into a night of hedonistic pleasures. Yet, their self-indulgent pursuits blind them to the ominous shadow looming over them. Unbeknownst to them, they are on borrowed time, their long overdue debt to humanity ticking towards a deadly payoff. As the night unfurls, a mentally unhinged killer emerges from the shadows, armed with more than just a sharpened axe and a thirst for retribution. One by one, the body count surges, as a chilling game of survival ensues in the heart of the Pine Barrens. With each passing moment, the line between the hunters and the hunted blurs, spiralling into a blood-curdling massacre that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
