Blazing Saddles (1974)

An old western town is in the way of a railroad that needs built. A greedy henchmen plans to make money off the installation of the railroad, but needs to make it an unlivable place to reside first. His goons manage to stir things up, and the local sheriff is killed. The Mayor steps in and appoints a new sheriff to get things back on track.
