Plot

In the throes of World War II, imagine a world where the Nazis have captured London, compelling every corner of England to unite in a desperate stand. The Nazi leaders, who are frighteningly flamboyant, have tunneled their way under the English Channel, surfacing amidst the historic cobblestones of Whitehall. This audacious invasion prompts the reclusive Churchill, living out his retirement with a feline that eerily mirrors Hitler, to emerge from his sanctuary beneath Downing Street, rallying a call to arms. In response, Chris, a humble farmhand blessed with unusually large hands, mobilises the village folk, assembling an unlikely band of heroes. This motley crew includes a booze-loving Vicar, the town's oldest resident, a handful of village fools, a mysteriously displaced Frenchman, and Bobby Fiske, a foul-mouthed American who's convinced he's at war with Russia. The fate of the world teeters precariously in their miniature plastic hands. This imaginative tale is brought to life through the groundbreaking puppeteering animatronics of Scottish brothers Edward and Rory McHenry, amplified by the commanding voices of renowned actors including Ewan McGregor, Alan Cumming, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike, Tom Wilkinson, Timothy Spall, and Richard E. Grant. This is a unique twist on history, a daring adventure that ignites laughter even as it stirs courage.
