The fourth and final film of this martial arts saga, features Ip Man traveling to San Francisco in search of new opportunities. He immediately gets involved with the controversy within the local Chinese community, as his student Bruce Lee has begun teaching martial arts to non-Chinese students, as well as written a book on the subject in English. Accompanied by his son, Ip Man faces racial discrimination in the United States of the 1960s.
