Invaders of the Lost Gold (1982)

In the dense, untamed jungles of the Philippines, during the height of World War II, a contingent of Japanese soldiers finds themselves burdened with an invaluable shipment of gold. Their mission, however, takes an unexpected turn when they are seized by a ferocious tribe of cannibals. In a clash of cultures and survival, a bloody battle ensues, leaving the jungle floor stained with the remains of the fallen. Amidst the chaos, a few fortunate soldiers escape the carnage, managing to conceal the treasure deep within the labyrinth of the jungle for safekeeping. Fast forward thirty-six years, a diverse expedition team, fueled by myths and the allure of untold riches, ventures back into the heart of the jungle. Their objective: to unearth the long-lost gold.
