InSight (2011)

Kaitlyn, a steadfast emergency room nurse, finds herself tending to a young woman grievously wounded by a stabbing. Fate takes a shocking twist when a defibrillator jolt meant to revive the victim accidentally courses through Kaitlyn. Subsequently, she is plunged into a chilling reality where she relives the victim's memories. Desperate for help, she reaches out to her loved ones and law enforcement, but her pleas fall on skeptical ears. Resolute in her conviction, Kaitlyn embarks on a solitary quest to unravel the mystery behind the crime, fearing the horrific visions may consume her sanity if left unsolved. As she delves deeper into this endeavor, she finds an unlikely ally in the detective assigned to the case. Together, they navigate the labyrinth of the victim's past, unearthing not only the cruel reality of the crime, but also unexpected insights into life, love, grief, and forgiveness.
