Under the shadow-fringed veil of night, Ellen finds herself driving along a desolate mountain road, her only company being the eerie whispers of her radio. Distraction proves to be her downfall when she inadvertently collides with a car abandoned on this lonely stretch. Stranded, with her car refusing to roar back to life, Ellen steps into the chilling darkness, seeking aid but instead crosses paths with a nightmarish figure known only as Moonface. Moonface, a grotesque, monstrous figure that dwells in the wilderness, has a macabre hobby of collecting human bodies. He sees in Ellen his next quarry, but she is no mere prey. As Moonface's unsuspecting hostage, Ellen's past equips her with an unexpected arsenal. Memories of survival lessons from her husband Bruce begin to surface, transforming her fear into a formidable determination. The desolate mountain road transforms into a deadly battleground, as Ellen pivots from prey to predator. The once seemingly helpless woman now stands her ground against the monstrous Moonface.
