Plot

In the heart of Yorkshire's countryside, a quartet of youthful offenders, accompanied by their two care workers, embark on a journey to the secluded village of Mortlake, a relic of a town that thrives in its isolation. This trip, intended as a weekend getaway, soon leads them to an antiquated country house, a forgotten gem in the wilderness that they restore to be their temporary haven. Eagerly seeking some local flavor, they venture into Mortlake's core, only to encounter a congregation of eccentric "town folk" who are as peculiar as they are intriguing. The morning sun of the following day finds them amidst a graveyard of old train carriages, scavenging for scrap metal, an endeavor that once again unites them with the peculiar locals. This time, however, the encounter spirals into a chilling event that leaves one of the care workers grievously injured. Desperate for aid, they plunge back into the heart of Mortlake, unaware of the horrifying web they are about to step into. As they delve deeper into the village for help, they soon discover that Mortlake's inhabitants are far from the benign souls they had naively perceived. A seemingly small altercation swiftly morphs into a blood-drenched nightmare, their dreams of a peaceful weekend getaway devolving into a terrifying fight for survival. The once tranquil village of Mortlake now stands as a macabre stage for a sickeningly twisted saga that the young offenders and their care workers are forced to endure.
