Plot

In the year 2193, the course of justice is threatened when the nefarious Mordecai Sahmbi invents a time machine known as TRAX. The device becomes a gateway to the past for Sahmbi and his criminal cohorts, ultimately leading 200 of them to escape to the era of 1993. Sahmbi himself evades capture, leaving the authorities with a monumental task - to retrieve these fugitives from the fabric of time itself. This mission falls onto the shoulders of Captain Darien Lambert, the dedicated and fearless prime of the Fugitive Retrieval Section in the 22nd century. Armed with a versatile three-button weapon known as a PPT, Lambert hurdles back in time to the tail end of the 20th century. The PPT is his key to success, capable of sending criminals hurtling forward to their original timeline, or rendering them unconscious with a mere press of a button. As his journey through time begins, Lambert is forbidden to return to his own era until every last fugitive is captured. His only companion in this daunting mission is Selma, a self-aware computer ingeniously disguised as a credit card. Selma, with her access to various databases and her ability to make logical conclusions, becomes Lambert's invaluable aide in his pursuit of justice. Together, Lambert and Selma navigate the unpredictable landscape of the past, relentlessly hunting down the time-travelling criminals. But the most elusive of them all remains Mordecai Sahmbi, the mastermind who set this temporal chaos in motion. As Lambert inches closer to his goal, he finds himself locked in an intense game of cat and mouse against Sahmbi, the architect of the time machine, and the greatest threat to the 22nd century's law and order. "Time Trax" is a thrilling journey that weaves through the threads of time, challenging the notions of justice and technology.
